On December 17, Bishop Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm of My Tho diocese presided over a ceremony for ordainment of priests at its pastoral centre in My Tho city of Tien Giang province.
Attending the ceremony were Vicar General Priest Trần Kỳ Minh, over 100 priests, clergymen and clergywomen, as well as a large number of followers in the diocese.
During the event, Bishop Nguyễn Văn Khảm initiated rituals for ordainment of seven priests of My Tho diocese, including three deacons from Tien Giang province, three deacons from Dong Thap province and one deacon from Long An province
The priesthood ordainment took place in a warm and solemn atmosphere and in a joyful presence of My Tho diocese’s dignitaries and followers.
