The Samaritan’s Purse International Relief provides 5000 gift boxes to the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern) in Tien Giang province

On February 26 – 27 2014, Tien Giang Children’s Fund and the Samaritan’s Purse International Relief (SPIR) – an NGO distributed 4.356 gift boxes to disadvantage pupils in Dong Thanh elementary and high schools, Go Cong Tay district; Tan Thoi, Tan Phu School, Tan Phu Dong district, Tien Giang province. Representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, agencies and the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern), Ap Bac and My Tho chapters also attended the ceremony.

SPIR is a non – governmental organization with headquarters in the US, operating in Vietnam since 1996 with focus in helping children, the poor and disabled people. It’s informed that SPIR provided 5000 gift boxes to the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern) through the Tien Giang Children’s Fund, each gift set values at 25 USD. These are presents such as toys, school supplies and children’s clothing… sent from children in Australia to children in Vietnam.
