On June 17th, at Xa Tac relic temple, Mong Cai city (Quang Ninh), the Executive Board of the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha held a ground-breaking ceremony for construction of Xa Tac pagoda and prayers for peace in the East Sea.
The construction of the Xa Tac pagoda – temple will assert the spiritual and cultural sovereignty of the country and contribute to the creation of peace between Vietnam and China.
At the ground-breaking ceremony, the monks, nuns and Buddhists also prayed for peace in the East Sea.
