The greatest Buddha statue in Southeast Asia on display soon

According to Nam Dinh provincial VBS Executive Committee, on August 29, at Loc Vuong ward, Dam Dinh City, a Buddhist ritual was held and dedicated to Sakyamuni Buddha and Tran Quoc Tuan statues.

The Sakyamuni Buddha statue, made of copper with 14.76 m high, 150 tons in weight and donated by Nam Cuong corporation, is said to be the biggest Sakyamuni Buddha in Southeast Asia.

Mrs. Lê Thị Thúy Ngà, Chairman of Nam Cuong corporation confided that the statue was created with a profound wish to make a hallmark for the home city of Nam Dinh, a place to practice worshipping and praying for peace, prosperity in the country and happiness to all people.
