Attending the ceremony were Mr. Trang Văn Hải, Deputy Director of Home Affairs, Chairman of Tay Ninh province Committee for Religious Affairs , Cardinal Thái Thọ Thanh, Head of the Representative Committee of Caodai Tay Ninh Church, local authorities from Chau Thanh commune and Thanh Long district, dignitaries from 75 parishes in Tay Ninh province and 267 deacons of 5 parishes in Chau Thanh district

The course will last 7 days. The deacons will learn about religious contents including doctrine, law, rituals and administration. In addition, the representative from the Committee for Religious Affairs will provide to deacons specific information on regulations of the State on religious activities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Trang Văn Hải, Deputy Director of Home Affairs, Chairman of Tay Ninh province Committee for Religious Affairs highly appreciated the efforts by the Representative Committee of Caodai Tay Ninh Church in the opening of the first training course for deacons in the locality. He also wished that throughout the course the deacons will acquire good knowledge and continue to cultivate the virtue and practice religion in accordance with the law

Cardinal Thái Thọ Thanh expressed thanks to local authorities for creating favorable conditions for the Church to open this training course.
