In two days of August 16th and 17th, 2014 at So Kien parish, the 2nd Youth Festival of Phu Ly vicariate was held with the participation of more than 2,500 youth from 53 parishes and communities in the vicariate.
On August 17th, 2014, the festival program was started with sharings about the issues of young people, including HIV and abortion.
In his preaching, Archbishop Nguyễn Văn Nhơn shared with participants about God's salvation for all humanity and all those people who believe in Jesus Christ. In particular, as this year is the family Holy year, he called everyone to continue learning, studying and contemplating on God’s words.
Before the ceremony conclusion, a representative from the youth expressed his gratitude to Archbishop Nguyễn Văn Nhơn, priests and all participants for their contributions to the successful organization of the festival.
