Thay Thim temple cultural – tourist festival 2018 took place on October 22-24 in Tan Tien village, Lagi town, Binh Thuan province.
The opening ceremony held in October 22 drew a large number of locals and tourists taking part in worshiping rituals in the day.
The temple festival is a long tradition of locals for honoring the merits of Thay Thim (Master Thim) who, according legend, helped the locals by providing free medicines, developing cultivating lands and building boats for fishermen.
The festival annually held on the 14-16th of the 9th lunar month featured many traditional rituals and cultural activities such as tug of war and lion-dance, and was broadcast live by local television./.
