On July 25th, 2014, the Executive Board of Sầm Sơn’s Vietnam Buddhist Sangha organized many activities of gratitude "while drinking the water, remembering it’s source", on the occasion of 67th year anniversary of Invalids – Martyrs Day (July 27th,1947 – July 27th, 2014).
At Khải Nam pagoda and Khải Minh pagoda, Buddhist monks and ashrams visited and presented gift to families of martyrs, war invalids and victims of Agent Orange dioxin.
At the memorial of martyrs of towns and communes, Monks, Buddhists and local citizens solemnly held a requiem for heroic martyrs./.
