Tho Cach church under Vam Am parish, Thai Thuy Deanery, Thai Binh diocese was solemnly inaugurated at a ceremony held on Oct. 4.
The construction of Tho Cach church was started on November 10, 2013. After two years of construction, the church has been completed with 40mx17m in size, and its steeple of 37m high.
Attending the ceremony were Bishop of Thai Binh diocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Đệ, priests, clergies and followers in the locality.
Speaking at the ceremony, the diocese bishop shared physical and spiritual meanings of a Catholic church and extended congratulatory greetings to Vam Am parish’s dignitaries and followers. Late, the Bishop conducted inauguration and thanksgiving rituals for the new church.
