On January 6, Venerable Vice Chairman of Thai Thuy district Buddhist Executive Board Thích Thanh Dương led a delegation to present charity gifts to poor people in the locality.
Joining the delegation included members of the Buddhist Youth club.
The delegation visited and presented gift boxes to 350 patients in Van Mon leprosy and Dermatology Hospital in Vu Thu district, poor households in Thai Thuy district’s Thuy Lien commune, and children in the provincial sponsoring centre in Vu Thu district.
The total value of 300 gift boxes presented at the charity visits include 20 VND million in cash and 350 kg of rice, which contributed by two Buddhist families in Hanoi and Thai Binh province.
