In the morning of April 27th 2014, at the Bac Trach Church, Tien Hai vicariate, Thai Binh Diocese, Archbishop Leopoldo Girelli – non-resident special envoy of the Vatican to Vietnam solemnly presided over a ceremony to inaugurate its Holy Temple.
Attending the ceremony were Bishop of the Thai Binh Diocese Peter Nguyen Van De, Francis Xavier Nguyen Van Sang a total of almost 10.000 people, former Bishop of Thai Binh and many priests, clergymen and believers inside and outside the diocese.
During the ceremony, Bishop Peter Nguyen Van De solemnly conducted a ritual for consecrating the altar in Bac Trach Church.
