The Representative Committee of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Tay Ninh province solemnly held a meeting on January 2nd to review its performance in 2017 (92nd religious year) and approve working plans for 2017.
The event taking place in Cam Giang parish in Tay Ninh province’s Go Dau district saw the participation of Bishop Head of the Caodai representative committee Thái Thọ Thanh, members of the committee and representatives from the management board of 75 Caodai parishes in the province.
Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Võ Thành Công and local authorities’ representatives were also present at the event.
As reported at the event, during the year, under the guidance of the Caodai representative committee in the province, dignitaries, deacons and followers from the local parishes actively participated in social and charitable activities in the locality with a total contributing value of more than VND 20 billion.
On the occasion, local authorities also presented certificates of merit to three Caodai parishes and two individuals for their outstanding social contributions during the year.
