Tay Ninh Caodai Church held a grand ritual on February 15 opening the festival dedicated to its highest worshipped figure called Duc Chi Ton or Supreme Being at Tay Ninh Holy See in Tay Ninh province.
This is one of the two biggest religious festivals for Caodai dignitaries, deacons and followers.
Attending the ceremony included Cardinal President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church Thượng Tám Thanh, members of the Church’s Standing Committee and Nine separate religious ministries.
Local guests at the event included Chairman of the provincial Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Minh Triều and Chairman of Tay Ninh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Võ Thành Công.
On this occasion, the Church held an ad-hoc ordainment for four Caodai dignitaries for their outstanding achievements in the Church’s activities over the past years, including priest Thượng Cảnh Thanh, Head of the Church’s overseas Representative Committee.
