The Representative Committee of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Tay Ninh province solemnly held a meeting on January 3rd to review its performance in 2016 (91st religious year) and approve plans of activities for 2017.
Attending the meeting included Bishop Head of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Representative Committee Thái Thọ Thanh, members of the committee and representatives of the management board from 75 Caodai parishes in the locality. Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Võ Thành Công was also present at the event.
As reported at the gathering, during the year, under the guidance of the Caodai representative committee in the province, dignitaries, deacons and followers from the local parishes actively participated in social and charitable activities in the locality with a total contributing value of more than VND 19.5 billion.
Addressing at the meeting, Chairman Võ Thành Công acknowledged typical achievements over the past year by dignitaries of the Representative Committee and the management board from the local parishes. He also expressed hope that the Caodai dignitaries would continue guiding followers to implement the Church’s motto for “better religious and secular life” and “the nation is glorious, the Way’s enlightened”.
