At the reviewing conference

The event taking place in the Caodai church’s office in Ben Tre saw the presence of 200 dignitaries from the church’s 28 Caodai parishes in the province.

Guests at the event included Director of the Caodai Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Phúc Nguyên, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization Phạm Thị Thanh Thảo, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyễn Thị Mai Rý, and Vice Chairman of the provincial Religious Committee Phạm Ngọc Thành.

As reported at the conference, during the last five years, 28 parishes of the Tay Ninh Caodai church in Ben Tre has practically contributed to social and charitable programs launched in localities in the country, including over 20 billion VND donated to the Covid-19 prevention work.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the provincial Religious Committee Phạm Ngọc Thành praised achievements of the Tay Ninh Caodai church in the province during the 2017-2022 term and expressed hope that the Caodai church would continue proactively participate in emulation movements launched by the local authorities and practically contribute to the socio-economic development in the province.
