Survey of cultural heritages of ethnic minorities in Khanh Hoa

Khanh Hoa province is surveying typical cultural heritages of three ethnic communities of Raglai, Ê đê and T’rin in the locality until November this year.

Main contents of the survey consist of types of the Raglai epic, traditional occupations; traditional home appliances; traditional tools; traditional costumes; traditional jewelry; traditional musical instruments; types of belief and artists.

The survey aims to make documents of typical traditional cultural heritages of the Raglai, Ê đê, and T’rin in six districts of Ninh Hoa, Khanh Son, Khanh Vinh, Dien Khanh, Cam Lam and Cam Ranh city. Thereby, it will identify and determine the value of these cultural heritages in order to build a database for the management of ethnic culture, materials and artifacts collections at the provincial museum.

The results of this survey will be reported to the provincial Peoples’ Committee and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in December.
