The Suk-yeng Festival 2022 in Ninh Thuan province was kicked off by an opening ceremony held on December 2 at Thanh Tin temple.
The Suk-yeng Festival, a traditional festival of Bani Muslim community in the province, is held every three years on Friday of seven consecutive weeks at seven Bani temples respectively in the locality. This year festival will conclude on January 13 at Tuan Tu temple.
During the event, Cham Bani Muslim community in the province often pilgrimage to Bani temples and pray together for favorable weather, peace and prosperity in the country and community exchanges and enjoy traditional programs and folk games.
