During a Christmas visit to the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (North), Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyễn Trọng Thừa presented a Christmas bouquet and congratulations sent by State President Trần Đại Quang to dignitaries and believers of the Church.
The visit made on December 21 was welcomed by Pastor Chairman of the Church Nguyễn Hữu Mạc and joint by Acting Director of Protestant Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Thiều Thị Hương.
During the visit reception, the Deputy Minister extended Christmas greetings to the Church’s Pastor Chairman and believers. He also expressed his hope that the Church would continue upholding fine traditions and made more valuable contributions to the process of drafting the Decree for guiding the implementation of the Law on belief and religion.
