Currently, Tien Giang province has 11 Caodai parishes under the Correct-Path Cao Dai Church located in the province’s six districts with nearly 3,000 followers, 254 deacons, 2 Bishops, 5 priests, 155 religious, 12 high-level practitioners and 159 medium-level practitioners.
During the 90th religious year (from September 2014 to September 2015), these Caodai parishes have implemented the Church’s annual religious program and obtained some outstanding results including:
So far, five oratories has been repaired and one oratory being rebuilt during the year; four out of 11 Caodai parishes have been recognized as cultural worshipping facilities.
More than 2,000 followers have attended 61 doctrinal classes; the parishes have contributed to the Church with total cost of over VND 1.2 billion; there have been 51 new converts.
Charity activities including building houses for the poor, providing social welfare for the elderly, presenting gifts to poor children, have been conducted with the total of over VND 300 million.
