From March 1 to 31, eight out of nine boards for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics in Tra Vinh province’s districts successful convened congresses of the Catholics for national construction and defense, 2022-2027 tenure.

During the congresses, the Catholic Solidarity boards in districts reviewed results of the patriotic movement and the solidarity boards’ activities in the previous term including the active participation in social programs launched by local authorities for promoting public security, environment protection and Covid-19 prevention work.
The congresses of solidarity boards in districts have selected 114 standing members for the 2022 – 2027 tenure including five priests, four sisters, 66 deacons and 39 parishioners.
