The Catholic solidarity committee in Nghia Dan district of Nghe An province held on December 17 a meeting for reviewing its performance 2018 and mapping out plans of activities 2019.
According to the meeting report, for the year 2018 Catholic followers in the district have contributed money, land and construction materials for building new style rural areas valued at 2.5 billion VN.
Up to now, Nghia Dan district has 11,000 Catholic followers with five parishes, accounting for 7.9% of the local population.
