Six new Catholic parishes under Da Lat Diocese established in Lam Dong

After an approval by authorities in Lam Dong province, Bishop of Da Lat Diocese Dominic Nguyễn Văn Mạnh on June 29 issued a formal note for establishing six new Catholic parishes under the diocese.

These new parishes include:

Dinh Van parish with 3,500 parishioners located in Lam Ha district’s Dinh Van town, and Priest Peter Huỳnh Quang Vũ appointed as head of the parish.

Gan Reo parish with 1,170 parishioners located in Duc Trong district’s Lien Hiep commune, and Priest Dominic Trần Quang Vinh appointed as head of the parish.

Hang Hai parish with 1,300 parishioners located in Di Linh district’s Gung Re commune, and Priest Paul Đỗ Đức Huy appointed as head of the parish.

Liang Dam parish located in Di Linh district’s Lien Dam commune, headed by Priest Martin Nguyễn Đình Huy, with 3,200 Catholics who are Ko Ho ethnic people.

Pang Tieng parish under the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer in Vietnam located in Lac Duong district’s Lat commune with 800 Catholics who are Cil ethnic people, and Priest Paul K’Nhoang appointed as head of the parish.

Hiep Phat parish located in Bao Lam district’s Loc Ngai commune with 1,300 parishioners and Priest Matthew Nguyễn Văn Việt appointed as head of the parish.
