Seryvonsa pagoda located in Binh Phuoc province’s Dong Xoai district held from June 1 to July 30 a summer course for youth, mostly Khmer adolescents.
Attending the event were over 100 participants from 9 to 18 years olds from the provinces of Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong and some western provinces.
During the course, participants learnt Khmer language, history of Buddhism, Buddhist chanting, ethnics, life skills, etc.
In order to encourage youth participation, the pagoda has provided the full expenses, including notebooks, pens, accommodations, as well as rewards for excellent results.
