During the event, participating delegates focused on assessing the current practices of weddings, funerals and festivals and proposing solutions including revised roles and tasks of concerning departments in promoting civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals and festivals.

During the forum, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Bùi Xuân Thập stated that the department will closely work with other concerning departments in the province on the state administration on weddings, funerals and festivals, as well as stressed the need for raising awareness amongst officials and local people in promoting the civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals and festivals.
