Results of ten-year religious exchange between Caodai Churches and organizations

The religious exchange by Caodai Churches and organizations was designed to promote unity of dignitaries and followers for upholding the Third Amnesty of God, relieving human sufferings and serving the Nation.

Since 1995, many Caodai Churches and organizations have received state recognition and  gradually strengthened their organizational structures and built up the religious Charter and operational guidelines. By 2008, the first exchange conference was held by the Verity-Way Caodai Church with the participation of seven Caodai churches and organizations. This conference approved contents for enhancing solidarity and mutual support in religious activities and promotion of the fine traditions of Caodaism.

By now, participating in the religious change included nine Caodai churches, one religious meeting group and 21 Caodai organizations, with a total of 7,000 dignitaries, 2,000 deacons and about 1.5 million followers with nearly 600 parishes operating in 37 provinces and cities and 800 worshipping places.

The religious exchange of Caodai Churches and organizations for ten years have recorded many results including the following:

Development of the operating model for the religious exchange has been established by Caodai churches and organizations. Each year, the Cao Dai churches alternately took the leading role in cooperation activities.

The Caodai churches and organizations organized training conferences for hundred of teachers and over 100 classes on religious tenets with the participation of large number of Caodai dignitaries, deacons and followers.

The participating Caodai churches and organizations have jointly operated a monthly Caodai Magazine with a total of 21-publications issuanced. This group of Caodai churches and organizations also is completing the application to the Ministry of Information and Communications for establishment of a Caodaism website.

In addition, it’s reported that dignitaries and followers of participating Caodai churches and organizations have conducted social and charity activities including supports to the poor and gifts to soldiers in Truong Sa island at an estimated value of nearly 300 billion VND.
