Religious committee in Dong Nai holds meeting with new Catholic priests

The Committee for Religious Affairs in Dong Nai province held on October 19 a meeting with 25 priests newly ordained in 2022 of Xuan Loc diocese.

The event was chaired by Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Đình Kiên.

During the event, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Đình Kiên had exchanges with Catholic priests on religious life in the province. While extending best wishes to newly promoted priests of Xuan Loc diocese, He expressed hope that in their new positions, they would join hands with local authorities for promoting social development of the locality.

As reported at the event, Xuan Loc diocese formally ordained 56 priests in the nine months of 2022. The province currently has 800 priests.
