Ve Long Trung Caodai parish solemnly inaugurated its new oratory at a ceremony held on March 15 in Tu Nghia district, Quang Ngai province on occasion of the 55th anniversary of the oratory.
Attending the ceremony were Justice Commissioner Nguyễn Thanh Giang, Standing Vice Chairman of Caodai Missionary Church, representatives of local authorities of Quang Ngai province, Tu Nghia district and Nghia My commune, and about 2,000 dignitaries, deacons and followers from the parishes under Caodai Missionary Church inside and outside the locality.
The new oratory of 600m2 is built with contributions and support from Ve Long Trung parish’ dignitaries and deacons on an open land of 3,000m2. Its main worshipping Triple Palace has an area of 370m2.
Currently Ve Long Trung parish is reported to have 180 families with about 700 followers.
