On October 3, the Protestant Board for Social Affairs and Health in Quang Nam province under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern) (ECVN) conducted a medical charity program in Duy Thu commune, Duy Xuyen district.
The program, in collaboration with sponsors and the Social Affairs and Health Committee of the ECVN (Southern) distributed conducted health checks, free medicines to 320 people and presented 80 sighted glasses to the elderly.
The medical delegation consists of 40 members, including Commissioned Pastor Ông Văn Tín, Head of Quang Nam provincial Social Affairs and Health Board and Commissioned Pastor Võ Tiến Dũng of Thu Bon Protestant Church.
In addition to health checks, free distribution of medicines and presentation of gifts to local people, the volunteer group "Christian Hair" also conducted free haircuts for a large number of local people.
