A requiem for the 13 soldiers and staff of the communications division who sacrificed their lives in Len Ha cave in 1972 was held at Thanh Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province on July 2.
The requiem was organised by Quang Binh provincial Vietnam Buddihst Sangha in collaboration with Quang Binh provincial People's Committee and Ministry of Information and Communication.
During the requiem, Buddhist rituals and activities, including Buddhist offerings and propagation of Buddhist teachings, were conducted solemnly for uplifting the soul of the deceased.
The requiem contributed to pay respect and gratitude for fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives for national independence and liberation.
