Thanh Lang Catholic Community in Quang Binh province’s Thanh Hoa commune held on July 25 the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its church.
Attending the ceremony included Bishop of Vinh Diocese Paul Nguyễn Thái Hợp and over 1000 priests and followers inside and outside the diocese. Representatives of local authorities also joint the event.
The new church of Thanh Lang Catholic community will be built with 14m wide, 33,2m long, and its bell tower is 26m high.
Thanh Lang Catholic Community was established in 2013 with 71 households and granted the land use right in 2015.
