In a response to the National Target Program on New Rural Area Construction, over the past years, Catholics in Quang Phuc ward actively took part in movements and campaigns launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and local authorities, contributing to the construction and development of the locality.
Catholics actively participated in emulation movements with many households making a high income of 50 to 70 millions VND per year. The local authorities, Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations regularly coordinate with priests, the pastoral council of 02 parishes to encourage Catholics to implement state and local programs for community building. Thereby, every year, over 85% families in Quang Phuc ward reached the “cultural family” title, with 2 out of 5 residential areas awarded the "Cultural Village"
Catholics in Quang Phuc has also positively responded to the gratitude movement, made voluntary contribution and donation of land and working labors for construction works in the process of building a new countryside model.
