Eleven deacons from Buon Me Thuot Diocese were ordained as priests on June 2 at a solemn ceremony held in the diocese’s Cathedral.
The ceremony was presided over by Bishop of Buon Me Thuot Diocese Vincent Nguyễn Văn Bản, and attended by Priest Vicar General Stephen Nguyễn Văn Đậu, Priest Director of Stella Maris Seminary in Nha Trang city John Baptist Ngô Đình Tiến, and large numbers of priests and followers in the diocese.
The newly promoted clergymen included Joseph Nguyễn Huy Hoàng, Vincent Phạm Hữu Mạnh, Paul Cao Đình Quang, Joseph Nguyễn Trung Luật, Joseph Bùi Đình Sâm, Joseph Đậu Quang Trung, Joseph Trần Vũ Thiên Uy, John Y Xuất Lu ca, Anthony Trần Nhân Tâm, Anthony Lê Công Văn and John Baptist Hoàng Nguyên Vũ.
This event took place on occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of Buon Me Thuot Diocese (June 22, 1967 – June 22, 2017).
