The Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee’s Executive Committee has agreed a proposal by the municipal People’s Committee for organizing a ceremony to pay tribute to the compatriots, comrades and soldiers who have died from Covid-19.
The proposal was put toward at its ninth meeting of the municipal Party’s Committee held online on October 14.
The event also discussed issues relating the Covid-19 epidemic prevention work and resume of business operation in the new situation. In particular, the municipal authorities shall take care of orphans, lonely elders, as well as pay tribute to frontlines, volunteers who died to Covid-19 while on duty.
