Pointing out limitations like sluggishness in institutional building and those regarding State management, PM Chính said the sector should set out standards, criteria and procedures to fulfill its tasks, and maximise democracy and collective brainpower.

The immediate task for the sector is continuing to join the COVID-19 combat, socio-economic recovery and development, and social welfare, he said.

The sector and the Ministry of Home Affairs need to play a more active role in institutional building and consolidation to remove barriers to national development, focusing on State management institutions, the PM said.

PM Chính mentioned other tasks like administrative reforms and Party building and rectification, saying he believed that the sector will make better performance of its political tasks this year./.
