Over 600 poor patients receive free health check, eye surgeries in Catholic deaneries in Ha Tinh

A medial charity program implemented on December 7-9 in Nghia Yen vicariate under Vinh diocese located in Ha Tinh province’s Duc Tho district provided health checks and eye surgeries for nearly 400 poor people from the province’s Duc Tho and Huong Khe districts.
During the program, nearly 200 patients received cataract surgeries.
The charity program was continued on December 10 in Ngan Sau vicariate on December 10 and performed free health checks and eye surgeries for nearly 200 patients in two districts of Huong Khe and Vũ Quang in the province.
This program was co-organized by Priest Director of Caritas of Vinh diocese John Baptist Nguyễn Huy Tuấn and doctors from the Saigon Eye Hospital, and funded by sponsors from localities.
