A ceremony was held on July 25 to open the Buddhist Youth camp 2015 at Dambri tourist area in Lam Dong province.
The event was organized by Ho Chi Minh city Buddhist Guidance Board with the participation of 1.200 young people.
Attending the ceremony were Most Venerable Head of Lam Dong provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee cum Vice Chairman of the VBS Central Committee for Buddhist Propagation Thích Thiện Bảo and members of the Buddhist Guidance Board of Ho Chi Minh city.
Chairman of Lam Dong provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Văn Đức and local authorities’ representatives also joint with Buddhist dignitaries and followers at the event.
The camp contributed to create an opportunity for thousands of young people to enjoy the nature, connect with friends, learn good behaviors based on Buddhist teachings
