Ninh Thuan provincial authorities extend congratulations to Cham Brahmins on Kate Festival

Provincial authorities in Ninh Thuan province have paid congratulating visits to ethnic people of Cham Brahmins, on occasion of their Kate Festival 2022.
Vice Chairman Nguyễn Long Biên extends congratulations of Kate Festival in Ponugar temple
In particular, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee in the province Nguyễn Long Biên on October 24 attended the celebration of the festival held in Ponugar temple located in Ninh Phuoc district’s Phuoc Huu commune and met with prestigious Cham people in the locality.
Accompanying the official included Deputy Director of the Home Affairs Department in the province Trương Thanh Long.
Speaking during the celebration in Ponugar temple and visiting receptions, while extending congratulations to dignitaries and lay followers of Cham Brahmanism, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Long Biên also expressed hope that Cham ethnic people in the province would continue upholding unique values of Kate Festival, and promoting fine traditions and social cohesion, contributing to socio-economic development in the locality.
