The Dignitaries Council of Bani Islamic community in Ninh Thuan province held a ceremony on January 21 to officially ordain Mr. Châu Minh Hương as the religious deputy chief of Bani Tuan Tu temple in Ninh Phuoc district.
Attending the ceremony were Head of the Council religious Chief Kiều Bình, and over 300 followers in the locality.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Tấn Thuyên.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tấn Thuyên encouraged dignitaries, deacons and followers in the Tuan Tu temple to observe state laws and actively participate in movements for the socio-economic development in the locality.
