On November 26, the Dignitaries Council of Bani Islamic community in Ninh Thuan province held a ceremony to ordain Imưm Đạo Văn Bùi as the religious chief of Luong Tri temple in Ninh Son district.
Attending the event included representatives of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Committee for Religious Affairs, local authorities and a large number of followers.
Imưm Đạo Văn Bùi was born in 1952 in Ninh Son district and converted to Bani Islam in 1972. For the past years, Imưm Đạo Văn Bùi have made many practical contributions for improving cultural, social and religious life of locals in the district. He has also been regarded as a typical example in implementation of State policies and programs for local socio-economic development.
