In respond to the call of Pope Francis and the bishop of Thanh Hoa diocese to observe the theme of Jubilee year of Mercy, Thanh Hoa diocese held a night music festival on May 15 at the hall of Thanh Hoa Cathedral to raise funds for the poor.
Attending the event were Bishop Giuse Nguyễn Chí Linh of Thanh Hoa diocese, Priest Antoine Head of the Caritas Trịnh Đình Thiệu, priests and large numbers of Catholic followers from the parishes and local people, as well as Catholic singing groups including Thanh Su, Duy Tan, etc.
The night music concert was organized by the Caritas Committee of Thanh Hoa diocese and aimed to raise fund to support people who have disadvantaged circumstances, orphans and disabled people.
