A delegation of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Quang Binh province led by Senior Venerable Standing Vice Chairman Thích Phương Đạt paid on April 18 visits to local authorities in the province.

The VBS delegation visited the provincial Party’s Committee, the provincial People’s Committee, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the provincial Home Affairs Department and the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs. At the visits, Senior Venerable Thích Phương Đạt took the chance to thank Quang Binh authorities for their practical guidance and support extended to the VBS chapter in the province in successfully organizing its 4th congress (2022-2027 tenure) which took place on April 16-17, as well as affirmed that the provincial VBS executive committee would strive to implement the plan of activities set out by the congress for Buddhist as well as socio-economic development in the province.
