Pastor Đào Minh Hồng Ân was formally appointed as the first Superintendent of Hiep Binh Chanh evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Thu Duc city at a ceremony held on November 18.
The event saw the participation of Pastor Nguyễn Thế Hiển, Commissioner of the ECVN (South) in charge of pastoral affairs in Ho Chi Minh city, local authorities’ representatives, and members in the chapter.
During the ceremony, Pastor Nguyễn Thế Hiển performed appointment rites for Pastor Đào Minh Hồng Ân – the new head of Hiep Binh Chanh chapter.
Earlier, Dau Tieng evangelical chapter in Binh Duong province’s Dau Tieng district has officially appointed Commissioned Pastor Nguyễn Thiên Lãm as superintendent of the chapter.
Present at the event included Pastor Nguyễn Tờn, Commissioner of the ECVN (South) in charge of pastoral affairs in Binh Duong, Pastor Trần Văn Hiền, Head of the ECVN’s Representative Committee in the province, and other pastors of the provincial Representative Committee.
As reported, Commissioned Pastor Nguyễn Thiên Lãm has served as head of Cu La evangelical chapter in Kien Giang province’s Chau Thanh district before appointed as new head of the Dau Tieng chapter.
