Commissioned Pastor Hồ Trần Đăng Huy was formally appointed as Superintendent of Phuoc Kien evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Ho Chi Minh city at a ceremony held on February 26.
The event saw the participation of Pastor Member of the Executive Committee of the ECVN (South) in charge of pastoral affairs in Ho Chi Minh city Nguyễn Thế Hiển, members of the Representative Committee of the ECVN in the city, local authorities’ representatives, and a large number of the chapter’s members.
During the ceremony, Pastor Nguyễn Thế Hiển presented the superintendent appointment decision and official seal to Commissioned Pastor Hồ Trần Đăng Huy whom expressed his dedication and devotion in his new position and took the chance to thank to the ECVN and local authorities for their support.
As reported at the event, Phuoc Kien evangelical chapter was established in 2005 from Chanh Hung Church chapter. The worshipping church of the Phuoc Kien chapter was built on an area of 420 m2 in Le Van Luong street, Phuoc Kieu commune, Nha Be district.
