On the same day, in Ho Chi Minh city, Commissioned Pastor Nguyễn Thương was appointed as Superintendent of Binh Chieu Protestant Church in Thu Duc district.

Attending the two ceremonies included Protestant dignitaries from the General Confederation of Evangelical Churches of Vietnam (ECVN) (Southern), pastors from the Protestant Executive Committee in Kien Giang province and Ho Chi Minh city, representatives from local authorities and followers in the localities.
