The Protestant Representative Committee under the Evangelical Churches of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Ninh Thuan province held on Oct. 11 a ceremony to ordain four new pastors and open a spiritual training course at Lap La Church in the province’s Ninh Son district.
Attending the event included Pastor General Treasurer of the ECVN (South) Phan Văn Cử, Pastor Head of the Representative Committee in Ninh Thuan province Kiều Bảo Toàn and about 480 Protestants in the locality. Acting Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Đỗ Hải Nam and local authorities’ representatives also joint the ceremony.
While extending congratulatory greetings to the four new pastors, Chairman Đỗ Hải Nam also expressed his hope that they would continue encouraging Protestants to live the Gospel within the nation and bring happiness to the people, as well as actively participate in the patriotic emulation movements in the locality.
Pastors Pi Năng Ha Thiêm, Gollhow Thin, Nguyễn Minh Lợi and Ngô Ngọc Tuấn from Protestant churches in the province were formally ordained during the event.
