The My Tho Protestant Chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) held on May 22 the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its new church located in My Tho city, Tien Giang province.
Attending the event included Pastor Lê Văn Như Kỷ, Member of the Vietnam Evangelical Church (South)’s Executive Committee; Pastor Phạm Thanh Loan, Chairman of the Church’s Representative Committee cum Superintendent of My Tho Protestant Chapter; and commissioned pastors, missionaries and 300 followers from 10 Protestant chapters from Tien Giang and neighbouring provinces.
During the ceremony, Pastor Lê Văn Như Kỷ performed the ground-breaking rite to start the construction of the new church.

The construction of the church with five floors on an area of 4000sq.m is expected to be complete in next two years.
