Eight deacons of My Tho Diocese were solemnly promoted as priests on December 8 at a ceremony held in My Tho cathedral located in My Tho city of Tien Giang province.
The ordination ceremony was presided by Bishop of My Tho Diocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm, and attended by priests in the diocese and the deacons’ relatives.
As reported, these newly ordained priests included three priests from Tien Giang province and five priests from Dong Thap province.
