A ceremony to formally announce the management board of the Nui Ba pagoda complex located in Tay Ninh city’s Ninh Son ward for the 2017-2022 tenure was held on January 9.
The ceremony saw the participation of Vice President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Central Executive Council Most Venerable Thích Huệ Trí, Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in Tay Ninh province Most Venerable Thích Niệm Thới, Head of the Nui Ba pagoda complex Superior Nun Thích nữ Diệu Nghĩa, and large numbers of Buddhist monks, nuns and followers.
Guests at the event included representatives from the home affairs department, the committee for religious affairs, and the Fatherland front committee.
During the event, the executive committee of the VBS chapter in Tay Ninh presented the decision approving the 18-member executive board of the Nui Ba worshipping complex for the 2017-2022 term with Superior Nun Thích nữ Diệu Nghĩa reappointed as Head of the board.

On the occasion, the Nui Ba Pagoda complex inaugurated the bell tower located in Linh Son Phuoc Trung temple. The bell was cast with 3.4 meters in height, two meters in width and 6.5 tons in weights at the total cost of four billion VND.
