New head of Catholic parish in My Tho diocese appointed

Priest Antony Phạm Trần Huy Hoàng was formally appointed as Head of Giong Cat parish under My Tho diocese in Tien Giang province’s Chau Thanh district at a solemn ceremony held on December 30.  

The ceremony was led by Bishop Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm of My Tho diocese and Priest General Vicar of the diocese Paul Trần Kỳ Minh, and joint by priests of the diocese and parishioners in the province.

During the event, Priest Antony Phạm Trần Huy Hoàng expressed his dedication and devotion in his new position.

Giong Cat parish in Chau Thanh district currently has 150 Catholic households with over 500 parishioners.
