New evangelical churches inaugurated in Binh Phuoc

Dak Kang Evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Dong Nai commune of Binh Phuoc province’s Bu Dang district held on November 18 a ceremony to inaugurate its worshipping church.

The event saw the presence of Pastor Vice President of the ECVN (South) Phan Vĩnh Cự,  Pastor Điểu Huynh, Commissioner of the ECVN (South) in charge of pastoral affairs in Binh Phuoc, representatives of the Church’s representative committee in the province and local authorities, and over 1,000 members of the Dak Kang and neighboring chapters.

As reported at the event, in addition to the worshipping church, the evangelical chapter has also completed the pastor’s residence, education centre, and other auxiliary facilities with the total construction investment of over six billion VND.

Earlier, Soc Be evangelical chapter in Thanh Phu commune of Binh Long district has also inaugurated its new church.

Present at the inaugurating ceremony included Pastor Vice President of the ECVN (South) Nguyễn Hữu Bình, Pastor Điểu Huynh, Commissioner of the ECVN (South) in charge of pastoral affairs in the province, representatives from local authorities, and about 700 members from Soc Be and neighboring chapters.

Soc Be evangelical church

Soc Be evangelical chapter, managed by Pastor Điểu Vinh, currently has 429 members. The worshipping church of the chapter was built on area of 260 m2 with the total cost of over 1.2 billion VND.
